recentlyi had my belt done on 2012 tdi b7 passat after 120K at vw main dealers for £398 all inclusive of parts/labour/vat. i compared this to small independent and they wanted £350. believe me £398 is worth it, dont take chances with the timing belt replacement! My local Audi dealer quotes £495 for the cambelt or £649 for cambelt and water pump on their fixed price schedule. I also have a cambelt quote at a lower price (£295) from a local independent.
