Because they changed the quest system. They replaced the trademark memory sequence system from all previous AC games with a more conventional RPG quest structure. At least they removed the ugly 100% sync objectives and we can now have multiple active quests at once, so I honestly prefer this new system all day.
blood is 100% worth it. at any rate when these were on sale you could get all dlc for all ac games 19.99 including the core game, i got mind for far less. and 279 hrs into the game of odyessy (origins is much shorter) and you cannot chose gender which sucks, also.
